Music:

We never really planned to have as much live entertainment as we do currently but that didn’t stop it from happening.  Almost every day in the spring and summer we have talented musicians playing Jazz, Celtic, Bluegrass, folk and other popular musical offerings.  We are proud to have the opportunity to help musicians find a showcase for their talents.  Even though he doesn’t perform,  the trumpet great Bobby Shew can be found chillin in the environment from time to time which is exciting even though he is not in performance mode.  Maybe one day he will bring his horn show us what up!  We have seen great performers like Lewie Wickham, Rex, Warren and his mandolin sidekick Bob,  Karl Zenk  and Co. on Piano, Corrales favorites the Squashblossom Boys, Junglefish Unplugged a male guitar duo with exciting vocal harmonies, the Moore Twins 15 year old guitar prodigies and Bill West with his cool Jazz trio to name a few.  In the next year we hope to organize a veritable musical full house as new talent finds it’s way to the Bistro.  Check our calendar for expected performances.  Performers contact the Bistro staff to participate in our open mic night or request performance information.
